Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Text Converter Tools handles information when you use our website and tools.

Who We Are

Text Converter Tools is operated by Dioartis Grup SRL, IDNO 1011600003727, str. Calea Orheiului 109/3, ap. 211, Chișinău, Republic of Moldova.

For privacy requests and questions about this policy, email support@textconvertertools.com. We have not appointed a data protection officer (DPO) for this service.

Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed when you use Text Converter Tools at textconvertertools.com, including tool pages, informational pages, optional analytics after consent, hosting and security logs, CSP reports, and email you send to us.

It is written for the site as implemented and is intended to meet transparency requirements under Law of the Republic of Moldova No. 195/2024 on the protection of personal data (effective 23 August 2026), without claiming certification or legal advice.

How the Text Tools Work

Current tools on Text Converter Tools process text locally in your browser. Tool pages do not submit your input or converted output to our servers through forms.

  • Text you paste or type is transformed in the browser.
  • Import (for example JSON presets in Text Cleanup Studio) and download/export are handled locally on your device.
  • Clipboard access occurs only when you choose copy/paste actions in the interface.
  • When analytics consent is refused, tool pages do not load Google Analytics resources for measurement.

Browser extensions, your operating system, and apps where you paste results are outside our control. Avoid entering passwords, private keys, financial, medical, or other confidential data into any online tool.

Personal Data We Process

Depending on how you use the site, processing may include:

  • Tool input and output — processed only in your browser; not submitted to our servers by the tools.
  • Website delivery and security — IP address, request timestamp, requested path, browser/user-agent, referrer received by the server, HTTP/security logs, and CSP violation reports posted to our report endpoint.
  • Optional analytics (after consent) — Google Analytics 4 identifiers and technical signals described in Optional Analytics.
  • Local browser storage — preference and consent keys that remain on your device (see Local Browser Storage and the Cookie Policy).
  • Email correspondence — address, message content, attachments, and details you choose to send when you email us.

We do not require an account. Advertising technologies are not used on the site today.

Local Browser Storage

The site uses first-party localStorage keys such as tct-consent, tct-theme, tct-favorites-v1, tct-recent-v1, tct-presets-v1, and tct-studio-presets-v1 / tct-studio-presets-v2. These stay on your device until they expire, you clear site data, or you use reset controls described in the Cookie Policy.

Studio presets store pipeline names and steps, not the text being processed. Tool textarea content is not designed to be persisted in these keys.

Optional Analytics

If you choose Accept analytics, we load Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-DBTCBSDTD0) to understand aggregate use of pages and tools. The Google tag is not loaded until analytics consent is granted (Basic Consent Mode). Advertising-related Consent Mode signals remain denied because advertising is not enabled.

Our configuration is designed so that:

  • page_location uses origin and pathname only (no query string or fragment)
  • referrers are not sent for analytics attribution (ignore_referrer)
  • Google Signals are not enabled (allow_google_signals: false)
  • User-ID is not configured
  • tool input, converted output, and raw JavaScript error messages are not sent as analytics parameters

Google may still process technical data and cookie identifiers according to its Analytics implementation, including approximate location derived from IP where Google applies that processing.

You can withdraw consent anytime via Cookie preferences in the footer. Withdrawal updates Consent Mode, disables the GA measurement flag for this site, and clears first-party Google Analytics cookies that the site can remove. See the Cookie Policy.

Hosting, Security Logs and CSP Reports

The site is a static website served through our hosting provider (cPanel/Apache hosting). Server access logs typically include IP address, timestamp, requested path, user-agent, referrer received by the server, and status information used to deliver and secure the service.

Server access logs are retained according to the hosting account’s log archival practice (currently monthly compressed archives are present for recent months).

Browsers may send Content Security Policy (CSP) violation reports to /csp-report.php. Reports are stored as daily JSONL files under the account csp-reports directory outside the public web root. Retention of CSP reports is managed by the operator; files are stored for security review and purged periodically by administrators.

Contact Emails

Contact is by email only (there is no contact form that POSTs messages to our servers). When you write to support@textconvertertools.com, we process your email address, the content of your message, any attachments, and technical details you include, in order to reply, improve the site where relevant, and keep records of correspondence for security or legal needs.

Describe issues using non-sensitive examples. Do not email original text that contains personal, confidential, financial, medical, authentication, or private business information.

Mailbox retention is managed by the operator as business correspondence needed to respond to requests and related legitimate purposes.

Recipients and Service Providers

  • Google — Google Analytics 4, only after you accept analytics; processes analytics events and related cookie identifiers under Google’s terms for GA4.
  • Hosting infrastructure — our hosting provider processes server access and related technical logs needed to serve and secure the site.
  • Email — when you write to support@textconvertertools.com, your message is processed through the email systems used for that mailbox.

We do not sell personal data. Advertising networks are not used on this site today.

International Data Transfers

Dioartis Grup SRL is established in the Republic of Moldova. Hosting for this site is operated in connection with our hosting account infrastructure.

If you accept analytics, Google Analytics may process data outside Moldova. Transfer safeguards are those provided under Google’s terms for GA4 and are subject to ongoing review. We do not invent or publish additional contractual transfer mechanisms beyond what is in force with Google for this measurement ID.

Data Retention

  • Tool text — not submitted to or retained by our servers through the tools.
  • Local storage — remains on your device until expiry, deletion, or reset.
  • Server access logs — retained according to the hosting account’s log archival practice (currently monthly compressed archives are present for recent months).
  • CSP reports — retention is managed by the operator; files are stored outside the public web root and purged periodically by administrators.
  • Analytics — retained according to the Google Analytics property configuration and Google’s product terms after consent.
  • Email — retained as correspondence managed by the operator for response, security, and related legitimate purposes.

Your Data Protection Rights

Subject to applicable law (including Law 195/2024), you may have the right to:

  • access
  • rectification
  • erasure
  • restriction of processing
  • objection
  • portability, where applicable
  • withdraw consent (for analytics) without affecting prior lawful processing
  • lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (CNPDCP)
  • not be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing that produces legal or similarly significant effects

How to Exercise Your Rights

Email support@textconvertertools.com with enough detail for us to understand and verify your request. We respond within one month of receiving a verifiable request, and may extend that period only where the law allows and after informing you.

We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify your identity. For analytics choices stored only on your device, you can also use Cookie preferences or clear site data in your browser.

Automated Decisions

The text tools apply deterministic transformations and helpers you choose in the browser. They do not produce decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you. Optional analytics measures aggregate site use and is not used to make automated decisions of that kind.

Children

Text Converter Tools is not directed at children. Where processing would rely on consent, we do not seek consent from children under 14. If you believe a child provided personal data by email, contact us so we can address it.

Security

We use HTTPS, security-related HTTP headers, access controls for hosting administration, and a CSP reporting endpoint to help detect policy violations. No online service is perfectly secure. Report suspected security issues to support@textconvertertools.com.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices or legal requirements change. Material updates will be posted on this page with a revised last-updated date. Where the law requires additional notice or a new consent, we will provide it before relying on the change.
