Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Text Converter Tools uses cookies, local storage, and optional analytics.

How We Use Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies in these categories:

  • Essential cookies
  • Preference cookies (for example theme / dark mode via local storage)
  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4), only after you accept analytics

Advertising cookies are not used while ads are disabled.

Essential and Preference Storage

Essential and preference data may include theme choice and analytics consent version stored in your browser (localStorage keys such as tct-theme and tct-consent). These stay on your device.

Analytics Cookies

If you choose Accept analytics, we load Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregated page and tool usage. We use Google Consent Mode with analytics denied by default. The Google tag is not loaded until analytics consent is granted (Basic Consent Mode). We do not grant advertising storage, ad user data, or ad personalization signals because no advertising CMP is configured.

Analytics events are designed to avoid sending tool input text, converted output, email addresses, or search queries that might contain personal content.

Advertising Cookies

Advertising is not enabled. Before AdSense or similar ads go live, a Google-certified CMP must be integrated. The site’s analytics consent banner is not a certified AdSense CMP.

Third-Party Cookies

When analytics is accepted, Google may set cookies related to Analytics. Hosting/CDN providers may process technical request data independently of cookies.

Managing Cookies

You can:

  • use Cookie preferences in the site footer to accept, reject, or change analytics consent
  • clear site data in your browser settings
  • block cookies via browser controls (some preferences may stop working)

Cookie Consent

On first visit we show a consent banner with Accept analytics, Reject, and Manage preferences. Your choice is stored locally with a consent version number. Changing preferences updates Google Consent Mode for future loads.
